Ultimate Windmill Contest | Kevo X Spin Control

Spin Control is teaming up with the legend, Kevo from Main Ingredients, to bring you the #UltimateWindmillContest! Check out the official contest trailer below: 

Before we get too deep into the battle specifics, we just want to take a second to introduce Kevo for anyone who is new to the scene!

Kevo was one of the top USA bboys for years and really made his mark internationally between the mid 2000's and early 2010's. You could catch him on squads with some of the top bboys out there including, Stripes (Main Ingredients), Kid David (Renegades), and Roxrite (Renegades / Red Bull BC One All Stars). Even while Kevo was on squads that were packed with some of the best breakers in the world, we would find ourselves rewinding battle footage to rewatch his rounds. The man was clean! His power and flavor were always a threat and still are to this day. Not to mention, he has some nasty windmills! So, now that we all know who Kevo is, let's get down to the battle specifics!

There are three ways to win a cash prize as well as a care package from Spin Control with some of our dopest products and being eligible is as easy as making an instagram post. Check the official video and flyer below: 

Here's a bit more of an in depth look at the categories:

  1. Cleanest Windmill - Kevo will be looking for the cleanest and best execution of ANY windmill style. The criteria of this category is form, speed, and general execution.
  2. Most Creative - This category will be judged on either the most original and unique variation of windmill OR the most creative use of a windmill in a powermove combination. 
  3. Participation - As long as you have followed the 3 rules below for how to enter, you have a chance at winning this category!

How To Enter:

  1. Upload your windmill video or reel to Instagram
  2. Use the hashtag #UltimateWindmillContest in your post's caption
  3. Call out 3 people to join the contest in your caption

Prizes:

  1. Cleanest Windmill - $100 USD + Spin Control Care Package
  2. Most Creative - $100 USD + Spin Control Care Package
  3. Participation - $50 USD + Spin Control Care Package
